Leads the practice, takes assessments for complex spine and shoulder cases, and treats mostly under prescriptions for Manual Therapy. Name and photo to follow upon approval.
Physiotherapists with their own areas of focus – from manual therapy to lymphatic drainage to equipment-based training. You stay with the same contact person throughout your course of treatment.
Our approach
If you're facing a series of six or ten treatments, you should be able to complete them with the same therapist wherever possible.
An assessment lives on comparison: changes in mobility, strength or pain are best noticed by someone who examined the same structures the week before. That's why we plan your appointments with one person right from the start – and discuss together in the first session what we're working towards over the course of treatment.
Sometimes a change is the better solution: when a different specialism fits better, when holidays or illness get in the way, or when you simply wish for it.
Areas of focus
Every therapist in the practice has a professional area of focus – when scheduling appointments, we first look at your prescription and then at who is the right fit.
Assessment-based movement therapy for back, shoulder and knee problems, after surgery and for postural complaints. The area with the most prescriptions on our team.
Targeted mobilisation of joints and the spine by colleagues with the relevant additional qualification – a requirement for billing this type of prescription.
Decongestive techniques for swelling after surgery, for lymphoedema and lipoedema, with compression bandaging afterwards on request.
Classic massage for tense neck, shoulder and back muscles, often combined with heat as preparation for movement therapy.
Equipment-based physiotherapy with instruction, a training plan and supervision from a therapist in the room.
Treatment in your own home for people who can't get to the practice – on Tuesdays and Thursdays, on fixed routes within Kiel.
Every treatment begins with the question of what has changed since the last appointment. Only then do we decide whether to mobilise, decongest or train – and what you can practise yourself before the next session.
See how it worksQualification
Only those with the required additional training may bill for manual therapy and lymphatic drainage – we keep these qualifications up to date and share new knowledge within the team.
Manual therapy and lymphatic drainage are only carried out by colleagues with the relevant certified training.
We review difficult cases together: two sets of eyes often notice more at a shoulder than one.
What we learn in further training ends up in our guide in an easy-to-understand form – with exercises that work without any equipment.

In the team
Within our team, we discuss treatment progress together, train regularly, and bring in a colleague with the relevant focus when needed – for coordinated care throughout your entire course of treatment.
Once a week, we review ongoing treatments together. If a finding calls for several perspectives, a second specialist contributes their assessment.
Each colleague maintains their own area of focus – from Manual Therapy to lymphatic drainage to equipment-based physiotherapy. This allows us to find the right fit for your needs in-house.
Wherever possible, you keep the same therapist for the entire prescription. In case of holiday or illness, a briefed colleague steps in with the same treatment plan.
We'll briefly clarify your needs and connect you with the right contact person.
